Attack Vector: Tactical, Squadron Strike, and Birds of Prey are all master classes in crunchy simulation design. And the PNPs are all discounted at Wargame Vault to around $10. Worth it just to read the rules even if you never play! Architect of Worlds is also worth checking out - great stuff.
