Still a month out from the referendum, 280K Virginians have voted. Turnout continues to be much higher in red areas: 58.6% of people who have voted so far are from the 5 GOP-held congressional districts. Still, that's down from the 63.5% last week, and the 60.3% on Tuesday. (I'll keep monitoring!)

JUST IN: Democrats flip a red seat in the Texas Senate. Taylor Rehmet wins against Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist who helped lead right-wing efforts to take over TX school boards. With all early vote, and 95% of precincts, in, Dem up 57/43. Trump won this seat by 17% in Tarrant County.

This first batch of about 2,700 e-day votes went 60-40 D, meaning they were *bluer* than the early vote, which was 56-44 D. If this holds, it's lights out for the GOP.

Tarrant County, TX is sure taking their sweet ass time.
