Also: I dont think Toshiro is “problematic” or anything. Dungeon Meshi explores power dynamics, forced servitude, and class a LOT, this is actually rather in line with a the rest of the manga. I just think its weird it never gets talked about

so here is the thing I really like Toshiro dunmeshi as a character. Incredibly well written, deeply enjoy his interactions with laios and the rest of the cast, etc etc. I, however, never see anyone bring up the fact that every single character in his party is his slave.
