Here's a tip for anyone with a PlayStation Classic controller that wishes the cable wasn't so short; the connection on the main board is just a micro-USB cable, just swap it with a longer cable.

I was able to complete 14 games from my backlog list I made last year and dropped 2 that just didn't click with me. I spent the first three months of 2025 playing through every FF7 game and spin-off so I should find time for more games next year as long as I don't get sidetracked.

Apparently OpenAL, which I use for EAX audio for Thief, completely breaks audio for VA-11 Hall-A and causes the game to become unresponsive when quitting from the main menu. Temporarily removing the alsoft.ini from "User/AppData/Roaming" fixes it. Strange...

Parasite Eve really needs display indicators like FF7 has for its pre-rendered backgrounds. It's also a bit too strict on where you have to be to interact with things in the environment, you have to be standing in just the right spot. I wasted way too much time looking for a key because of this.

This is the video issue I'm running into with Trails In The Sky. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to start playing the original version of Trails In The Sky FC for the first time but the opening video doesn't play properly and has terrible stuttering. I looked up various fixes that had me messing with the Codec Tweak Tool and no luck.

Patch 2.0 for Thief VR just went up and added some new stuff like interactive chalkboards, darts, and being able to pet the bird. There's also some new voice lines when picking up relics.
