i’m happy with how i did with this one. there was a lot of the “less is more” mentality thrown into this, especially with how i only played with one set of shadows (didn’t even bother blurring the edges) i also started shading in grayscale so i could see the values better

I feel like shading (or dealing with lighting) is tough like hair in the sense that people always say it doesn’t always have to make sense (because there’s so much randomness), but trying to ensure that the essence and believability remain intact regardless is a massive pain.
