I think I wanna give Final Fantasy XIII another go or at the very least finish it soon. I got to chapter 11 and really struggled to stay motivated with it but there's stuff I undeniably like about that game (lightning. It's lightning) Plus I can't really play XIII-2 without finishing it

The issue i have with fantasy, mostly modern fantasy of the last 25ish years is that they tend to feel too close to home. You can't just shoot some stuff in a forest and slap fantasy on it you've gotta make this shit *feel* like a different world entirely. Use colour, light, costumes, be weird!
