Danger from older drivers is a massive problem. Driving is not a human right. There should be basic mandatory re-tests at age 76 & every year from age 80. If this disqualified many people from driving that might help concentrate minds on the need for alternatives.

One little thing I hate about Seattle: the parking garages downtown that have these obnoxious speakers to tell pedestrians to clear the sidewalk as a car tries to pull out. This one next to the Talking Book and Braille Library is particularly offensive.

Oxford City Council has applied to itself for retrospective permission to advertise on The Plain roundabout. The grassed island has five advertising boards and one ghost bike, marking the site where medical researcher Dr Ling Felce was killed by a drug driver in March 2022.
