So it's official, Oxford residents who own cars will get 100 permits a year to drive past one of 6 camera sites. (Oxfordshire residents get 25) and otherwise pay £5 per day. Cyclox welcomes this move which should reduce car journeys and make Oxford a better place to live, walk, work and cycle.

Increasing parking for cars, means more people travel in cars, which means buses get held up... it means more pollution and congestion, which means fewer people travel by bike and it's not so attractive to walk..... Sign the petition against this move to make the air dirtier in Headington.
