Bluesky is a wonderful place that has flourished in large part because of its artists and intolerance towards facists/Nazis. The Updated policy currently going into effect Oct 15 could fuck that up and we should be very vocal about it. Here are some specific things to mention in feedback (THREAD)

Restricting the expression of sexuality through fiction and art made by adults, for adults – including those you find personally disturbing or offputting – is conservative censorship, full stop. When that censorship disproportionately affects subgroups, that's also discrimination. For shame.

banning adult content that is completely legal hurts artists. your new rule creates an absolutely massive grey area where literally anything could be interpreted as nonconsensual, from incidental nudity to bondage. given your track record, I can expect this to be used to target people you don't like

As someone who rarely/does not post nsfw - this new bluesky TOS feels like a dubious slippery slope since LGBTQIA+ media has been caught up in itchio’s nsfw cull. The nsfw label system is great. Sure, if u want, it can be made better. ask for suggestions to improve it instead of this vague rule.

The whole bsky TOS update is garbage but they're also deciding to go full steam ahead with censoring creative expression

I actually want people to try and have something legal signed by an OC. I mean if fictional characters are real enough that they have to consent for sexual situations, then my rich OC is real enough to guarantee for me to take a high loan for a house. @bsky.app do you see how RIDICULOUS it is?

As a sfw artist, nsfw artists are very important to me because I get to look at their nsfw art. I find this arrangement most agreeable 🤝
