In addition to Good's murder, ICE has been busy in Minneapolis causing car wrecks and traffic jams, filling the streets with tear gas and goons with loaded weapons, issuing specific threats and sewing general chaos. This is not law enforcement to preserve order. It's an occupation to cause chaos.

Someone drew a cartoon pig on a deputy's coffee cup but the LASD is on the case! Personally, if my boss humiliated me with a press release that said he had called me to "check on my well being" because of a little cartoon on my coffee cup, I would change my name and move to another state.

I assume Target, like other major retail employers in the US, submits I-9 forms to the IRS for all their new hire employees, which verifies their identity and legal work status in the US. Pretty cowardly of them to not issue a statement condemning ICE for harassing their employees.

One basic pattern here is that DHS officials are engaging in violence simply because they are irritated at citizens protesting them. There is no plausible threat of violence here. He just wants to inflict pain, and believes there will be no penalty for doing so.
