No. Trump certainly has tremendous pressure he can bring to bear. But Netanyahu is still an independent actor who has the physical capacity to launch unilateral military operations in the region while claiming (falsely or not) some pretext like an imminent threat from Hizbollah or Iran.

Correct. Trump is desperate for a deal, but has no credibility on any dimension. He has SAID that violations of the ceasefire, by Israel and Iran and the US, are not violations and the deal is at hand. He is not even trying to hide his desperation. Iran may also badly want a deal, but it has cards.

There are currently more bills attacking trans youth’s right to play sports across the U.S. than there are trans youth in school sports.

There’s really only one conclusion here: Trump cannot live in the realm of reality. He pathologically makes claims that cannot be supported and acts as if he is delusional. If all elections are rigged, as he says, how did he win in 2016 in 2024? He is a danger to this country.

That's just a basic human dignity thing. If a service member is dying, call the church or faith tradition that the service member has put down on their forms in advance.

It's really freaking dumb that they did this if only because I don't think the current system was causing any problems? This was not something people complained about regularly. It was mostly about making sure that the military was able to contact the correct faith when a soldier was dying.
