the only reason I'm not into Marathon hardcore right now is because, unlike destiny 2, there isn't an extremely loveable and memorable cast of NPCs that steal your heart with every cut scene and make you cry and slog through extremely hard gauntlets because you want that rare dialogue

My favorite thing I ever got a chance to work on in this game. Loved storyboarding these cinematics. It was a personal goal of mine to work in some way with Hazel, and it still remains a career high-point. To me, Heresy was the real epilogue for D2.

had been quietly worried when i saw people hoping that today's news was a sign of Destiny 3, as i was just talking about this with a friend last night. out of everything i've heard, i've only known of extreme burnout among the Marathon devs, incoming mass layoffs, and no plans for Destiny 3.

With over 4000 hours in Destiny, it was my life before and during my time at Bungie. It was the game Chew and I played hiding away from people at our wedding, made lifelong friends, and got to work alongside some real incredible people that made the tougher parts of the job completely worth it.

I haven't played since the layoff, but Destiny 2 was my favorite game for seven years and I made so many friends through it even before I joined the team. I'm sad to see it go.
