Crewe as I remember it in 1982. A class 33 arrived from Cardiff on a service up the Weak Marches. Waiting to push it's stock out from platform 7 and run round, before shunting it back and heading out again.

Rifling through my phone and came across 769002 at Pengam. They were a bit of a dogs breakfast but I loved riding on them.

On this day in 1913 the worst mining disaster in the UK happened in Senghenydd. The second disaster at the same pit. 440 men and boys perished in a massive explosion. This is a story of that fateful day. youtu.be/nuzPMXIQthk
