Spent most of today on an Avanti train from Wrexham to Carlisle then came back to Ribblehead on a Northern to get some lovely shots over the viaduct. Annoyingly I forgot my camera so I stole Nick’s phone as his phone camera is better 😂 Was a fun group on the train too, played some games! ☺️

Today was lounge ticking day 2, this time Liverpool! Didn’t intend to be lounge ticking today however something came up so we couldn’t see my grandparents. Managed to get 3 done! Working from my parents tomorrow and Wednesday though :(

Bought new Christmas decorations this year including the tree, lights, baubles and the Tree skirt The train around the bottom is a great addition which was a gift, only downside is it can’t run properly due to the tree skirt, and it is super load when it does run 😂

Had a great weekend with @nickbadley.com in Devon, We stayed in the Crowne Plaza hotel in Plymouth, which was my first time in a ‘posh’ hotel. It was nice to use a pool at a hotel for the first time! Enjoyed lots of tasty food at lounges and saw lots of trains and pretty views ☺️

We went ice skating at Battersea Power Station on Saturday, followed by a visit to 2 lounges, Staines and Egham! Where we got 2 desserts and 2 cocktails each for free as Nick’s reward :)

Started the day in the middle of nowhere early in the morning And ended at the newest station in Britain! Was a pretty fun day, great to meet some new people and some I’ve met before!

This T-shirt just arrived, I was trying out a new printing technique that my printing supplier offered Overall I don’t think I’ll switch as you can definitely feel that it’s printed on and feels kinda crunchy 😂 Only positive is the print quality is slightly better

Third day and final full day in The Netherlands started off more chill with popping to Leiden for a bit of a wander with some friends, then off to Zaanse Schans to walk some more around lots of Windmills! Then due to disruption we couldn’t finish our plans so we just wandered around Amsterdam 😁

Day 2 (actually meant to post yesterday but forgot) was a different day as we spent the day running around physically and on trains doing challenges against friends to gain points We very briefly visited Utrecht and Leiden and bits of Amsterdam for food but that was it honestly!

More photos from day 1 in The Netherlands Explored Delft and went up the tower, what a beautiful view! Then got a train and bus to Wassenaar (to fuel Nick’s nostalgia) Then checked into to our accommodation and popped to Amsterdam for a short walk as the sun way setting! What a busy day 😂

Last night we took a ride on the overnight ferry from Harwich to Hoek van Holland so now we’re in the Netherlands for a few days! It is very beautiful here! 😁

What a great weekend of sightseeing, food, transport fun and watching Esports! Nick and I went to Paris mainly to see the Valorant Esports finals but made the most of the time there to ride some trains and see some sights 😁 (1/3)

Took Nick out of his food comfort zone to try some gluten free dumplings? He wasn’t the biggest fan but I enjoyed it a lot Then we ventured on our first Hidden London tour Piccadilly Circus wouldn’t have been our first choice but Nick’s gift voucher was expiring and we were only free today 😂

Bought a slow cooker the other day and made our first ever beef stew! It was very tasty and tasted very much like childhood The dumplings were a little different to when I was a kid because they are now gluten free and I used butter instead of suet but still very tasty 😁

Birthday lunch out in Dawlish! ☺️ Definitely deserved that after being crammed sat in the aisle of a train for 2 hours 😅 The food was from a fully gluten free place called Home Kitchen which is amazing, so nice to be able to have whatever I want! Also preordered donuts for dessert 😁

Met up with a friend in Nick’s absence today and decided to make the most of the weather and walk the Thames park between Pangbourne and Cholsey Had to have a stop at Goring for a refreshing drink! Felt like I was watching Ed Pratt, walking and seeing the locks! 😂

After a lovely meal with some family I get to Eastleigh station to see this beauty there, just posing in front of a lovely sky Just a shame I didn’t have my camera on me as I came from work, only my phone 😅

What a great weekend! Travelled up on Friday after work and treated ourselves to EMR first class, then attended the Greatest Gathering on Saturday which was amazing, so lovely to meet everyone!

Well I may have spent £35 on some business cards, hopefully they arrive before this weekend as I spend £12 of that on next day delivery 😅😂 I don’t even know if it will be worth the money I spent on it but I guess we’ll find out! 😂

Today we went on a day out to the Isle of Wight with Nick and his parents, visiting Shanklin and attempting to walk to Ventnor (but getting a bus about halfway) But it was lovely after a bit of a wet morning, had a lovely lunch in Ryde and also got fish and chips before coming home 😁
