I haven’t been to my home parkrun since the beginning of May… so it’s time to head home! Difficult one because of the heat, but still consistently beating all of my pre-stroke times! Hard, but felt good, feel achieved #parkrun

I’m struggling to get out of the mentality of “I’m not disabled enough to need help” Like, I’m trying so hard to use services and adjustments when I need them, but I just feel so guilty when I do

Only Northern can put a 2 coach train on a peak service out of Piccadilly and then get confused that the train is overweight and can’t move. Ordering 2 car trains on the first place was a terrible idea that everyone knew would result in situations like this

Reposting the last post in my thread because that last paragraph is important. If you're having hard times... DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHER PEOPLE, you don't see the full picture. I would hate to think that the parts of my recovery that I'm sharing could be demotivating anyone.

Fatigue management is a bitch. If I run out of energy while I'm out, it wipes me out for days after. I had a busy weekend, but I had it well planned to manage my energy levels and just keep going. I was even sensible and cut my trip short because I felt like I'd used up a bit too much energy 🧵1/8
