I’ve met several amazing people through social media, and plucked up the courage to meet them for real, flying to America and Luxembourg. I also went to my first ever concert with friends made from social media. Meeting those friends are real highlights for me and hope to meet more in the future.

Bought myself a nice jumper today, I’m usually fairly self conscious of selfies and pictures like this but I like this jumper a lot. Now I just need a nicer looking stick.

I rolled the credits on Hollow Knight: Silksong but there is a lot left to do. I somehow managed to get to the end without getting the double jump upgrade.

I should really go back and play Hades 2 again, I bought into the early access day 1 and had a great time with it. Haven’t revisited it for quite a while.

Managed to book a timeslot for the Nintendo Pop Up Store in London later this month. Will have to look up a good route for getting to that part of London.

I’m there day 1

Had a bit of an odd exchange this morning. A group of people stopped me in the street and asked “Do you know where the Banksy artwork is?” I told them there isn’t one in town, but they were adamant and even showed me a picture of the art. It does look kind of like a Banksy, but it definitely isn’t.

I think this is the first time I’ve stayed awake past midnight since August. Apart from two instances on flights but constant time zone changes messed up the sleep schedule a lot.

Almost forgot that I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. It’s just a routine check up so nothing to worry about.

Trying to get back into watching more anime, so starting Ruri Rocks. I need to continue watching Solo Camping for Two as well.

I got some gifts for friends from the Lego shop in Sydney, and I’ve posted them all out. Sent one to a friend in America, and even though it’s just a custom keyring, I had to fill out a customs label describing exactly what it is, what it weighs, cost etc.

Sleep schedule has been all over the place since getting back home. Not used to the mornings being so dark all of a sudden, and my back/shoulders/arms are still aching from the seizure almost a week later.

Looking through holiday photos to start making a photo album, and forgot about this. A shoe shine station we found in a shopping mall. Only A$11 for a standard shine and polish.

Built the rest of the Lego sets I bought on holiday. The Luffy turned out pretty well.

Finalised the list of wild birds we saw in Australia. The wedge tailed eagle was huge.

Countdown audition is done, think the nerves got to me a bit. Fairly consistent across the letters rounds, crashed out on a numbers round and got one away with the other, but saw the answer immediately after. But I did get the conundrum in under 10 seconds so was happy about that.

Lego Game Boy is built

Had an email about the Pokemon and Natural History Museum event, went to choose a date for the ticket and so may dates are already gone, and time slots on remaining days are almost non existent. Can’t get a single time booked so I think this event will be a pass sadly.

I reapplied for Countdown before going on holiday, and yesterday I had an email saying I’ve been given a time slot for a video audition. Hopefully I’ll do better than last time.

Lego Game Boy has just been delivered

Been fighting off sleep for the last 30 minutes or so, don’t think I’ll be late to sleep tonight

Waiting at Heathrow bus station for our ride home. Very tired, but it’s made worse because during the 14 hour flight I had a seizure, luckily I had my seatbelt on but I’ve bruised my tongue and my arms and shoulders are incredibly sore from huge amounts of tensing

Had to make one last stop at the Lego store as well, picked up a couple of souvenir keychains.

Found a Pop Mart store and some of the figures there look odd to say the least.

Looking around Sydney one last time before flying home. We found an amazing bookshop that had a Vegemite and Pusheen section, as well as a Japanese tea shop, with all kinds of tea bowls and cast iron tea pots.

This is what I bought at the Lego store; a brick cabin luggage suitcase, an Australia postcard set and a Botanical Almanac. The Halloween set was a free gift for spending a certain amount. And I also got a new passport with the Sydney store stamp.
