I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Need item about car parking charges and town centres. They don’t seem to know that the evidence shows that pedestrians & those travelling by cycle and public transport spend more than car users (less per trip but more trips).

One reason I think it’s important to continue to highlight the disparity on our streets is that most people just don’t see it. Despite it being obvious to some, so many people don't have clarity because we have done such an incredible job of normalizing this imbalance.

As someone who has recently travelled by train from Poznan to Milan, Leeds and Utrecht, I'd say: ⭐ 1-click tickets for EU trains would be a nice step forward in promoting long-distance trains! ⭐ But in terms of competing with flying just a 1st step in a very difficult battle and not a game changer.

CarObesity is real - 1cm wider every 2 yrs. Around 60% of new cars sold in the UK are SUVs. And, just like health impacts of diesel, govt isnt acting so city leaders must. We need policies that discourage uneccessarily large cars, which are a threat to public space, clean air & children's lives.

Bravo Cardiff. Absolutely the right thing to do. Local parking reforms have a big role to play in reducing the number of large cars on our roads with all the benefits this brings - for safety, climate, air quality, space in our crowded public realm and, as mentioned here, road maintenance
