Timeline cleanse ~ Countryside edition Spent today dropping off donations & volunteering at an animal refuge. My body's -ow- from all the gravel I shovelled for their cat enclosure, but as a bonus I befriended a Most Zen dog & Inquisitive goat. Look at all that glorious handwoven-branch fencing! 🍃

Heading out today to volunteer at an animal refuge/sanctuary with their needed upgrades/repairs today, because it's the best & most immediate thing I can think to do to tangibly help *someone* (hopefully many someones) right now.

Channeled energy today chopping things that needing chopping 🪓 until I rolled backwards onto the ground. I laughed at the absurdity & felt like a kid for a rare, glorious moment. Also? A stack of firewood now exists & will be a surprise gift for an older lady who uses a woodstove to heat her home.

The most vital thing to do in the face of a deluge designed to overwhelm is to -not- give up. We must persistently care about & protect what we cherish & know is worth fighting for.

The plethora of abuses & harms we're witnessing and being subjected to are not necessary or natural, but optional & being imposed.
