A fun kinda quick pallet cleanser has been this Academy 1/144 B-52D. I always love the test/trainer schemes so this one included with the kit was an easy pick. A couple of areas to touch up and I have to finish getting the masking out of the gear wells, but it's almost ready for decals!

I've always missed in Blender a tool to align and distribute mesh objects. Something like what vector graphics editing software has, but in 3D. So I learned and coded it myself. 😊 #Blender3d

Patches created with a loft, using at most 4 cross-section curves and 2 rails. Curves constrained to mesh with Shrinkwrap, then converted to NURBS. So I can change the degree independently, just like with NURBS patches. Everything is parametric, basically, it's ICEM Surf inside #b3d. #SurfacePsycho😆

If you haven't tried the BBC's 3D view for the World Cup it's oddly satisfying. Looks like it uses real-time motion capture (rather than preset animations) because goal celebrations, arguments etc are replicated exactly. You can move the camera around, switch to 1st person etc
