I love that Hamster has been releasing more niche arcade games in recent years, most of which have been getting home releases for the first time ever. But when you hit a milestone like 500 games, Space Invaders is absolutely the right choice.

This is another tremendous game to be getting a re-release. I have all the love in the world for Hamster’s Arcade Archives series. That’s nearly 500 classic arcade games it’s released now with achievements / trophies, online leaderboards etc.

Jesus. Just finished listening to the history of Spinal Tap audiobook narrated by Reiner, and the pride and delight in his voice about making the original and getting to make the sequel shone out the speaker. That he managed to get the sequel made is even more poignant now. RIP.
