I was thinking about one of my favorite paintings today and the difference between seeing a picture of a painting and seeing the painting itself.

Im really proud of how the words on the opposite side of the hand are necessary to hold the picture together but also you can read the chunk of text on the left without them without losing information

For a long time i thought my extremely specific aesthetic preoccupations significantly hindered my ability to socially integreate but then i realized that many of those interactions i actually had different conversation options than "i dont know what that is im sorry" and that was the real problem.

Im visualizing my girlfriend as a homestuck character its really interesting

Something i appreciate about noise music is that fans will say in the comments of a video "I love this guy! i went to a show of his, I was the only one there, he lobbed a piece of lumber at my head in the middle of the set." I think this is the appropriate attitude to have when engaging with art.
