In this map @xruiztru shows us the largest migrant cohort in Japan by prefecture. Two neighbours (China and South Korea) and Brazil dominate. The Brazilians are mostly of Japanese heritage I would assume.

Historically, it will be very interesting to see if the attitudes towards the US in Europe revert back to long-term norms or if the rift is more permanent.

This graph by @lefineder shows historic life expectancy among European and Chinese elites from the early Middle Ages to the Modern-Era. European nobles didn't live as long as Chinese nobles. European scholars on the other hand had similar life expectancies to Chinese elites.
