I think a lot about when I was looking at Pathfinder 2e: I found a dude that made like 2 dozen videos about how this or that nitty rules detail made things so specific/granular/simulationist… and then I found his video about his group dumping Pathfinder bc the rules overhead was so exhausting

I think there’s a lot to like about The One Ring TTRPG, but one of my main points is: it’s blessedly simple, whereas my opinion of 5e—and anything trying to be like 5e (i.e. Daggerheart)—has so many needlessly fiddly bits? Rules-lite ftw
