cannot recommend the high fps physics plugin to anyone enough. if your character's clothes or hair are looking a bit stiff or their bits don't jiggle as much as other folks' it's likely because physics in xiv are tied to fps and you're playing at higher than 60fps. example video below.

I’ve been put in the situation time and again where someone will just dump information about their character on me or only talk to me when whey can make it about their character. Such a strange way to try to get someone interested in your OC, especially if it isn’t mutual

If you want people to care about your characters you have to be interested in other people’s characters too

lrp i was just thinking about this. it’s not really fair to complain about engagement if you don’t engage with other’s stuff too! it’s very sad that i’ve seen a lot of bitterness over this from people (especially in oc spaces like xivsky) but when i look at their account they dont uplift their peers

if you don’t reciprocate, don’t expect anything and this goes for many many things in life you have to care about other people’s art, time, writing, ocs — anything — too.
