Q4: #HorrorWritersChat In my current WIP, a band in a haunted apartment, it’s a poltergeist that feeds on and produces loneliness in its victims. When the band records it, it becomes a game of hiding it from feds who want it as a weapon, then a reality show wants to “prove” the reality.

In my current WIP, the root terror comes from an ancient artifact created by a long-fallen civilization of sorcerer kings that has been slowly driving someone mad. I love the idea of intelligent weapons, and how something once thought to be a cure can actually be a poison. #HorrorWritersChat

Honestly? Not much different from the provided example. But the rich imagery tends to arrive in the form of the POV character's thoughts before flipping into quick, straightforward action. But also by sprinkling in uncommon or "ugly" words to heighten a sensory description. #HorrorWritersChat
