actions that will contribute more to pushing against bluesky's censorship than a blackout: -submitting a feedback request -@ing moderation about it -commenting on mods posts about it -making and sharing memes (ex: "i consent!" sticker) -leaving an app store review -just generally posting about it

Submit feedback as well- tell your complains! You can find the feedback on the laptop on the lower right corner just belown trending! My main problem with censorship is things getting wrongly flagged- it causes more harm to smaller communities more than people realize. +

For the people who do not enjoy the newly introduced guidelines about censorship, I would suggest to be more loud about what is about to happen- also post & support artists LOUDER! Go post your art, but also support others doing so. Show bluesky that you stand with the community + #bskycensorship

it should go without saying but if you want users to voluntarily tag their art then you need to not threaten to ban them if they do. like, you can either have a well-regulated, easily-filtered art ecosystem or you can ban art you don’t like and see it come oozing back out of every crack and crevice

Restricting the expression of sexuality through fiction and art made by adults, for adults – including those you find personally disturbing or offputting – is conservative censorship, full stop. When that censorship disproportionately affects subgroups, that's also discrimination. For shame.

I cannot speak highly enough of my $1 and $3 and $6 supporters. My Patreon makes it so I can focus as much time as I do on big art pieces. One off support is nice, but a consistent flow of just $1 to $6 is really what makes being an artist possible.
