Apparently a board member of a group opposing safe bike lanes in Philly (Friends of Pine and Spruce) refused to move his illegally parked SUV blocking a bike lane. He then illegally covered up his license plate before driving away 20 minutes later. Here's to hoping for some accountability.

Absolutely deadly behavior causing another crash on Spruce Street at 5th st early this morning. This is on the busiest bike lane in Philly with over 1,500 riders who use it daily. We deserve so much better than paint and flexposts, we deserve real protection.

1/11/2025 10:40 to 11:05am Greyhound bus blocked the Spring Garden Street westbound bike lane between 2nd and Hope Streets in Philadelphia. Driver and attendant refused to move the bus out of the bike lane, offered no explanation as to why they refused to move the bus out of the bike lane.
