Crazy to see this game be officially acknowledged today.

I have been in the mood to play WayForward games lately. I've long since caught up on Shantae, but I want to play the other stuff, too. Xtreme Sports and Mighty Switch Force Academy were both a ton of fun. Is there a chance any of you might have recommendations from their back catalog?

I don't think I've mentioned this publicly, but I loved Pragmata and it made me cry like a baby. High recommendation, to the point where I could easily write a whole video on the game. Possibly a contender for one of my favourites. I love these two.

Seeing as the Star Fox rumours were true, Nintendo might actually be remaking Ocarina of Time, too, and I really don't know how I feel about that. It would have to be something on the scale of FF7 Remake for it to be justifiable to me, and even then... I don't know. Just make something new, man.

ten years after a remake of star fox 64, and fifteen years after a remake of star fox 64, we get a remake of star fox 64 ...Of course I'm gonna play it (and the multiplayer looks sick), but that is so funny. Maybe if this one pops off, the next one will experiment more. There's so much potential.

I know I'm quite cynical regarding this film (and my friends are probably sick of me talking about it), but I REALLY love how Link looks with a cape. Tears of the Kingdom Link looked SO cool and it felt like so appropriate for the amount of skydiving you did in that game. So this made me smile.

I've been working hard this past couple of months on a Dreamcast retrospective after so many requested it. This is a console I love dearly and has been at the top of my list of console retrospectives for YEARS. It should be finished by the end of the month, so I hope you're looking forward to it!!

Sony doesn’t ever get decide whether or not I can watch Utena, and my region doesn’t matter. I never have to read a Kotaku article about Disney censoring Revy’s butt. My DVDs don’t send me annual emails about them raising the price on me. This and more is decidedly not inconvenient.

It is happening again.

Typically I ask for suggestions when making a console retrospective, but thankfully the Dreamcast library is small enough that I've been able to find an awesome selection of games to talk about already. Crazy that it was only being manufactured in North America for 18 months before it died.

Replaying Mother 3 but not sure I can connect with the setting. A bunch of fascist pig thugs ruled by a narcissistic manchild take over a society which is too spiritually poisoned by love of money to offer any meaningful resistance. I mean nothing like that could ever happen in real life

This genre is so cool. Gunbird 2 rocks, Mushihimesama looks awesome, Touhou 6 has such an incredible difficulty curve, the bullet patterns are extremely well designed, I love playing it... I'm really glad that one Sega Saturn eroge got me to improve at them.

Just a day in the life

i cross-posted my previous thread to twitter and i'm almost positive i'm shadowbanned on there because i usually post about how much i hate that website now. in truth, i just don't like social media much at all. i'd stay on forums forever if i could. i should establish a blog for myself already...

This probably seems obvious to some of you, but art that you personally abhor does not necessarily have to reflect on an artist's character, desires or actions in reality. I think it is a dangerous precedent to restrict one's artistic freedom to tell stories or create art in ANY form.
