It is happening again.

Typically I ask for suggestions when making a console retrospective, but thankfully the Dreamcast library is small enough that I've been able to find an awesome selection of games to talk about already. Crazy that it was only being manufactured in North America for 18 months before it died.

This genre is so cool. Gunbird 2 rocks, Mushihimesama looks awesome, Touhou 6 has such an incredible difficulty curve, the bullet patterns are extremely well designed, I love playing it... I'm really glad that one Sega Saturn eroge got me to improve at them.

i cross-posted my previous thread to twitter and i'm almost positive i'm shadowbanned on there because i usually post about how much i hate that website now. in truth, i just don't like social media much at all. i'd stay on forums forever if i could. i should establish a blog for myself already...

This probably seems obvious to some of you, but art that you personally abhor does not necessarily have to reflect on an artist's character, desires or actions in reality. I think it is a dangerous precedent to restrict one's artistic freedom to tell stories or create art in ANY form.

Also I got back from NYC today. What an incredible trip. Saw Akira Yamaoka play Silent Hill music and... SNAKE EATER, if you can believe that. Gonna stream tomorrow and talk all about it. I'm beginning to realize just how much I love traveling.

I've received a good number of comments saying that I consider too many games I've talked about all-time favourites, but having a list of about 100 games out of the couple of thousand I've played in my lifetime shouldn't be that difficult a concept to grasp. I just like a lot of different things.

I haven't played a main series Pokemon game since Sun and Moon, and even then, I didn't finish it. I've wanted to play another one but the Switch games weren't cutting it for me. For those that have played those games, how are Wind and Waves feeling for you just based on that first trailer?

Before my Saturn video goes live, I just wanted to say that if any of you take an interest in Panzer Dragoon: DO NOT even CONSIDER playing the remakes. I am not even that staunchly against the concept of a remake, but these games deserved far better than what we received. Oof.
