Super Rescue Solbrain celebrates its 35th anniversary today.

I'm still enjoying Gozyuger, but it's really clear in these last couple episodes that a lot more was messing with stuff behind the scenes than just having to drop Maya Imamori. I very much doubt, for example, they planned to have Universe Kuwagata-Ohger just drop out of the war off screen.

I wasn't expecting to get emotional from this movie, but this scene with Candy Blaze playing over it just hit me. What a movie. I love Kamen Rider, and I especially love Gavv.

Movie Rider forms tend to be pretty good, but Gavv Hexenheim has got to be one of the best.

Even though these aren't the "real" ones, it's kinda nice seeing that the Stomachs did have the possibility of being a genuinely loving family in some capacity. It sorta makes me like their whole deal in the show proper a little more. Also Glotta carrying a whole-ass tree trunk is hilarious.

Qlarp really weirds me out, man. Obviously that was the intent, so good job on the writers and Keito Kimura, the actor, because he makes my skin crawl.

I was already liking this movie, but now that we've got some Vram action it's at least 80% better.

Okay, that might be even cooler than Caries' base suit. Still lots of reused parts, but we've got a new helmet, lots of purple and a cape. Fucking rad.

You know, Caries is literally tearing off an organ here. The blood's blue and it's an entirely fictional organ, sure, but it's still on the more brutal side for a Rider thing that isn't Amazons.

You can really tell it's a weird, alternate universe because this Lango actually gives two shits about his siblings

Even though we're nearly 20 episodes into Zeztz at this point, it's still pretty damn cool seeing what was his first real appearance to the audience. I hope they never stop having Riders cameo in their predecessors' movies.

I don't care that it's literally all reused parts, Kamen Rider Caries is a sick looking suit.

Okay, butler Lakia is weird in a lot of ways, but damn if he doesn't rock the look.

It's wild to me to think that this year marks 9 years since the Switch launched. Just based on these games, I think it might be my most played console ever. Even if it's not, it's gotta be right up there with the 360 and PS2.

I'm not at all surprised that Legends Z-A and Xenoblade X are in my most played games, but I am surprised that Silksong didn't quite hit it. I could swear I played that for longer than I did the Lunar remasters.

Got the script for the next video wrapped up, and it's ended up a bit beefier than I was expecting, but still shorter than the Mega Man X video. If all goes smoothly, it should be out within a week or two.

Well, creepy character faces aside, the Dragon Quest VII Reimagined demo is pretty damn fun. Looking forward to the full game.

I just can't get over how the characters look in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, mainly the faces. They look so uncanny and bad to me. XI absolutely nailed it, so I don't know what happened here.
