I’m proud of our Pension Credit campaign, but too many Londoners are still missing out on vital support. That's why City Hall is working to reach even more Londoners as we build a better, fairer city for everyone.

We are thrilled that Dorset Council has become the 100th place in the UK to become an Age-friendly Community. The local authority joins a growing network of places representing more than 30 million people that also includes Greater Manchester, Hertfordshire and Cardiff.

This concurs with what we found in our bit.ly/OTEReport2025 report. Many older Londoners face significant challenges when applying for additional financial support (e.g. long and confusing paperwork; difficulty navigating online forms), meaning they miss out on vital support they are entitled to 📝

We're so saddened by the news of Fauja Singh's passing. He remains an inspiration to us all, having run his first marathon at 89, and became the first man over 100 to run one. We are grateful for all the support Fauja gave Age UK over many years, and our thoughts are with his family 💜
