In Parliament for a reception hosted and organised by Body and Soul - a charity working to end suicide with love. Particularly heartening to hear from their founder and CEO Emma Colyer MBE about their You Are Not Alone (YANA) programme which works with young people who have attempted suicide. ❤️

Fantastic to visit the McVities biscuits factory. A vibrant part of the Brent community since 1902. 🍪🏭 It was great to speak to workers, many of whom live locally, and learn more about how these iconic biscuits are made. I even got to try some warm digestives straight out of the oven!

Great to see that neighbourhood police numbers in Brent and Harrow have increased by over 12% since I came into office. Abstractions this year are also significantly down meaning that police officers are now spending more time in the local neighborhoods that they should be serving in.

BREAKING NEWS Great to see that in the Mayor's Draft Budget published today that funding has been provided to progress the West London Orbital to the next stage. The line is proposed to run on existing freight lines and will better connect parts of West and North West London together.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra have now officially moved their headquarters to Wembley Park in Brent. They treated a packed Boxpark Wembley audience of 1,000 people from across the Borough to an amazing concert event this evening.

Great to be at the Mayor of London Adult Learning Awards where Brent based London School of Science and Technology picked up the Distinguished Provider Award. Humbling to hear from so many who have trained and progressed themselves to get qualifications and a job through City Hall funded schemes.
