Kilburn is split by three Police units across Brent, Camden and Westminster which has often led to the area not having a single coordinated approach to tackling crime. Great to see some actual positive results after a Policing operation with all three units working together.

In Parliament for a reception hosted and organised by Body and Soul - a charity working to end suicide with love. Particularly heartening to hear from their founder and CEO Emma Colyer MBE about their You Are Not Alone (YANA) programme which works with young people who have attempted suicide. ❤️

Fantastic to visit the McVities biscuits factory. A vibrant part of the Brent community since 1902. 🍪🏭 It was great to speak to workers, many of whom live locally, and learn more about how these iconic biscuits are made. I even got to try some warm digestives straight out of the oven!

Great to see that neighbourhood police numbers in Brent and Harrow have increased by over 12% since I came into office. Abstractions this year are also significantly down meaning that police officers are now spending more time in the local neighborhoods that they should be serving in.

A moving Holocaust Memorial Day event this evening at the Harrow Arts Centre. This year's theme Bridging Generations is a useful reminder to ensure that we work across different age groups collaboratively and that lessons of the past are passed on to future generations. #HMD2026
