I wrote to TfL asking them to remove unauthorised flags in Merton that have caused fear in my community. TfL has committed to removing them - but I've now discovered contractors taking them down are being threatened. This tells you everything: this was NEVER about patriotism.

It may be raining but there was enough dry moments for us to get to speak to quite a few residents today in #WestBarnes. Lots of conversations about the Gas Holder development and pitch use in the local parks. We are out every week, rain or shine!

Record homelessness, families trapped in temporary accommodation, people losing hope on endless waiting lists - and the Mayor's solution is to let developers off the hook and slash affordable housing targets? This won't solve London's housing emergency, it will only make it worse.

The burial of a report exposing the Met police's institutional racism shows a lack of commitment to change. Black, minoritised, and migrant communities deserve transparency. The Met must make the report public and accept the findings of the report and the Casey Review on force culture.

This isn't a slow-moving crisis; it's an urgent emergency that demands immediate and decisive action from the government. The time for complacency is over. The government must step in with an emergency funding package and guarantee that no terminally ill patient is denied a dignified end-of-life.

50% of children's hospices say they may reduce or stop providing care altogether if new funding doesn't arrive in the next 6 months. It's an outrageous situation - and the whole hospice sector needs our care. My Lib Dem colleagues and I are today calling on Wes Streeting to rescue the sector.
