“Your executive order is nothing but bad graffiti on the Constitution and we are going to wash it off.” NIH top career people, take this attitude too. You do not need to implement illegal orders just because they are in an EO. Stand up, NIH! If you don’t Trump will fire you eventually anyway.

For those with terminated NSF and NIH grants, there is a tracking system; here is the link to report your terminated grant(s); the intention is to advocate for the major loss to scientific research.

this is a long shot but my account is small & the losses to science are too great to not ask for favors. Please consider getting the word out about AHRQ & NIH funding cuts. We are losing a generation of scientists & American innovation. Thanks! 🤞🙏

Updated the NIH CSR study section tracking sheet to include meetings originally scheduled for 03/17-03/21. There are now over *two hundred* study sections that didn't meet as scheduled. Likely an undercount due to things I couldn't scrape orig date was removed.

If scientists and doctors don't resist, it makes it harder for the rest of us to do so. We'll still prevail, but it will be harder to do. Timothy Snyder (Yale historian of autocracy) says to not obey in advance.

It should be very clear to every Senate Democrat that any vote for Cloture will also be considered a vote for the bill. People aren’t going to be tricked with procedural games. They know exactly what is going on. Defend Medicaid. Vote NO on Cloture. NO on bill.

There needs to be more awareness around this. Funding for new proposals cannot resume until these meetings are published. Delaying sections and councils by even a few weeks will creat catastrophic funding gaps that would spell the end of valuable, cutting-edge research before it even begins.
