I cannot think of a better commentary on the turnover of the WWE audience to a group of people that have no fundamental understanding of pro wrestling than this. They very clearly tried to work a fake shoot (or maybe even legit lost control momentarily) and it got zero reaction live or even online.

I watched Stan Hansen vs Toshiaki Kawada from 28/02/93 today, my first time watching it. BOY OH FUCKING BOY. THIS FUCKING RULES. Kawada kicks the shit out of Hansen, & Hansen decides "Fuck this", DROPKICKS him and then hits a fucking AUSTIN ARIES TOPE. I was standing and pacing. So fucking good.

But HCTP does have a season mode where a possible ending is "Soz, you didn't make the WrestleMania card, fancy a coffee date with Coach instead?"

The consensus is HCTP>SYM, but I prefer the gameplay of SYM & the roster of HCTP. HCTP doesn't let you go wild throwing guys out the ring & diving off the stage like SYM does (& I'm not a fan of the grapple system), but HCTP does have Golderg, RVD & Rey, whereas SYM is in the post-Invasion stink.
