Remember how I said that, at least initially, the Trump people would slap a “mass deportation” sticker on the side of normal ICE operations? This is what I mean. In FY2024, under Biden, the average daily arrests were 310 and the average daily detainers served was 409.

Deportation flights never stopped. The Biden Admin deported about 1 million people per year. Republicans never talked about that because it didn’t fit their narrative, and Democrats never talked about it because they feared it would anger part of their base. So ignorance ruled.
