They make games and movies like they used to. So many of them. Same with books. But the mechanisms you learned about them were totally gutted and changed to only amplify shit that's already popular. It's still there! You're just mostly on your own to find it.

Iβm looking for a good contemporary novel. Iβve been reading a lot of medieval poems & sagas and realized Iβd read hardly any recent fiction this year. I love a book thatβs a bit cerebral, a bit strange, and tells a solidly plotted story with a minimum of fuss.

Hello, French post office made shipping to the US possible again. Also, new tariffs don't apply to art (for now). So I made purchase from the US available on my shop again.

I'm thinking about how creative ideas are a dime a dozen and an artist's concern over idea "theft" often indicates a fear that their voice is replaceable. To assuage that fear, an artist must develop confidence that their voice matters, even in a crowd.

Listen, when a friend introduces you to amazing music and then ends up being a fucking scumbag, YOU get custody of that music in the friend divorce. Same goes for movies, books, games, etc. Them's the rules!
