Here is the illustration from my color perception article. Notice that the pink figure has sharp edges defined by color. If you stare at the dot for ten seconds the edges will seem to disappear - maybe the whole figure will be gone. What does this suggest about color? @petersealy.bsky.social

@petersealy.bsky.social Your artwork with motion and color reminds me of the research I did on perception in the late nineties. I was separating color motion perception from luminance motion perception. I created some interesting illusions that you might want in your toolkit
