ziyal's sick again. same kind of thing as a couple months ago when she was lethargic, squinty, puffed up, and slightly cold. last time whatever was wrong cleared itself up in 24 hours, but taking her to the vet this afternoon anyway, just in case they can help. my poor sickly baby <3

oof, took my first dose of escitalopram a few hours ago and the nausea already got me. I hope the first couple weeks adjusting aren't too bad

so based on my lab work I have subclinical hyperthyroidism, and my pcp left a message saying I could try a low dose of thyroid medication, so I looked up the medication she prescribed, which is for hypothyroidism. which is the opposite of my problem. good work 👍

people who manage to make art while dealing with chronic illness, especially fatigue, really impress me. I know I used to be able to make art while being in pain, cause I've been in pain since I turned 18, but as my fatigue has gotten worse I can't do the thinking part of making art well.

I went with my sister to a consignment shop on saturday and saw this table there. I had to go back this morning to pick it up. the fossils displayed were collected by my late uncle (plus some of my rocks and my grandmother's coral necklace)

I wish I knew how to help her cause she's always like this and a little sniffly and has been for months. the vet says she doesn't have a respiratory infection and I've tried eliminating anything I can think of that might be an allergen, but she's just full of moisture! 🐀💦

I understand this is a Me problem, but as fun as casual hookups sound in theory I can't get past the idea of having sex with someone I don't already highly respect on an emotional, intellectual, and creative level. I cannot separate sex from some form of intimacy and trust. that all takes some time.
