Interesting, now if they'll release the performance evaluation of the city manager that was mysteriously withheld last year, maybe I'll start spending money in Burien again. Rescinding the "no camping" ordinance would be even better but that'll take time.

Councilmember Sarah Moore (@cm-sarah-moore.bsky.social ) has just been elected mayor of Burien, a strong signal of the progressive shift on the city council following last November's election. Current mayor Kevin Schilling lost to Moore by a vote of 4-2.

Burien is in very good hands!
