Lovely day out with Kid C yesterday in which he navigated a top notch gallivant around London on as many tube lines as he could manage. Then slept really badly and have that total exhaustion I remember from having tiny kids. Like someone's put a sheet of glass in front of you.

This is hardly a novel or useful observation, but I bloody hate the hot weather. I used to love the summer, and I really don't any more.

Kid C was at junior school during COVID and there was some sort of science experiment to carry out at home to see which carrier bag is strongest. I decided to approach this by hanging a series of bags off the back of a chair and filling them with heavy things from the kitchen.
