Scott Moe had two opportunities this week to shut down talk of separation once and for all — and he didn’t.   Saskatchewan people deserve better than vague answers when the unity and future of the country is on the line.

I think in some cases it is a case of having never had the opportunity to leave and gain perspective. In other cases it is a flat out refusal to entertain another viewpoint. It is that stubborn refusal that I hold accountable for their behaviour.

I've had it with right-wingers in Canada. All they want is to be more like the US. US style politics. US style healthcare. US style media. US judges. US laws. US guns. US taxes. US foreign policy. US this and US that. Then they claim to be fighting for Canada. Bunch of fraudulent jackasses.

Things are stressful, weird, upsetting in the world these days. The best remedy I know of is the mindfulness that comes from going outside. Walk, ride a bike, visit a dog park, watch kids in playgrounds, here (Saskatoon) the pelicans on the river. Just do it- every day- it brings back the optimism.
