I went to a cup and played Grimmsnarl and it was the least unenjoyable event of this format so far! I actually had fun! Got team killed in T4 because my deck decided to give up but that's fine :-D glad there is a deck I don't fucking hate

I love dragapult. Believe me I do. But it's also healthy to recognize that graphs like this are an indicator that it's not a healthy format. If you needed a sign to take a break and feel burnt out, this is it. It's okay to take a break. Cuz chief, this ain't it.

I took a full week off pokemon in every form. Uninstalled all the apps. Just played 6 games and all 6 were over by T2. So rubbish and disappointing. I don't know what to do :-(

My win rate in this new format has to be like 33%. I keep getting to "I hope they don't have X in their 18 card hand". I don't understand how I keep getting out-maneuvered. It constantly feels like if I play Dragapult they go ahead and stay ahead, and if I don't they play stamp and it's over

I don't know how people learn new formats and matchups and stuff so quickly. I am literally as bad at this format as someone who has never played before. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing at all

So I needed a playset of 70 HP Dunsparce and they arrived today. They were taped between 2 top loaders. Not IN them. Taped between them. Why not just put them in the top loaders at that point and use less tape? I’m so confused 😅

The Dragapult has 120 damage. Spidops has Brave Bangle which makes it 210 damage total and knockout. Except Lillie’s Clefairy is not a Team Rocket Pokémon so it actually does 180 and it’s not a knockout. And no one caught it, players or judges.

I think they should play all the tournaments for this format open hand. The whole thing could be done in a couple of hours. Look at both starting hands and the coin flip, yep cool you win, next

TEF - POR is like a YGO format where the game is over after 1 turn each, but instead of playing 50 cards in a sick combo you just play 3 cards from you hand in any order

I think one of the many things I hate about this format is that lots of plays that would have been absolutely terrible for the entire time I've been playing are now good Dragapult mirror. I go second, set up budew and do the thing. Opponent plays meowth for crispin to dragon headbutt with drakloak

The TCG Tournament Rules Handbook has been updated. Going forward, in top cut of tournaments (including League Cups), players don't flip a coin to choose who goes first. Instead, the higher seed chooses if they go first or second in game 1.

The fact that there are no pokemon battles in Pokopia kind of suggests that without humans, pokemon all just live in peace and won't use their powers to harm one another.

Generally more restrictive and rules-concise games are better imo. I absolutely CBA with giant open world RPGs with a trillion options. Give me Geometry Wars or Hotline Miami instead
