Yesterday a friend of mine was looking for a show we did in the past that involved me being a really good (sad) Tommy Oliver and because of the way Twitch works now - it's gone forever. I am dedicated to making sure that never happens again.

Sometimes I worry that the glitter cursor undermines my authority... But some sacrifices are worth it. (I promise, I actually work in the field and know stuff about information science and digital archives)

I’d love to see more eyes on & involvement in this project. If we get 50 shows uploaded, we can create an Actual Play collection in the Internet Archive. As far as I’m aware, this would be the first AP archive anywhere 🤩 I’ve done the metadata legwork & I’m happy to help ppl through the process.

I think online communication could be greatly improved if we all got in the habit of starting our replies with “I agree” “I disagree“ or “That reminds me of“ So often the connection is unclear and then it’s up to the reader’s mood to figure out the association. 🧵

Here's my “yes, and” for this great thread on magic items. The enspelled weapon is a good framework for DMs to understand how to design balanced magic items. But it cares more about game rules than story. It takes the magic out of magic: this item feels mass-produced in a factory.
