Alright, Pragmata was cool. Wasn't a secret Mega Man reboot. Wasn't the greatest game I've ever played. But it was unique and fun, the story was pretty good, and other than a couple optional things it was balanced really well. Well worth the time to play.

Feel like it's maybe a bad sign that I was happily playing a game all weekend and then played for like 20 minutes today, hit one frustrating moment, and said "fuck this" and just quit outright.

About once a week Linkedin tries to get me to add one of my former bosses to my network, and every single time it takes an immense amount of energy to not put my fist through my monitor.

This week is going agonizingly slow and I am absolutely ready for it to be the weekend.

5 more days of work until vacation, which definitely will magically make my brain recover from all of the everything that's going on and certainly isn't going to just provide temporary relief that will quickly fade immediately after I return to my normal routine. Yep, I've got it all figured out.

On this fine Sunday, I want to share a piece of documentation from one of my previous jobs, where they refused to give me any tools to make a diagram and told me to do it in MS Paint. (I used GIMP instead, for reasons.) They got what they paid for. This is still used in their docs today.

Timeline's fuzzy, but I spent a lot of time reading the trans megathread on Something Awful, and became friends with some of the regular posters. I also questioned my own gender for a while (turns out, I needed HRT). Both of these things built sympathy and empathy.

Got my "move miniatures on the surface of the TV and have reactive line of sight and lighting based on it" stuff working today and it's sick as fuck. Players being able to pick up physical minis and have the state of the map react has been a dream for me for years.
