We tested Shared Spatial Experiences in our office with a couple Vision Pros the other day and, as someone who has struggled with Meta's shared spatial anchors for 2+ years, it's equal parts delightful and infuriating how well Apple got this to 'just work.' Video coming tomorrow.

Very impressed with Unreal Engine 5.6's updates for translucency and refraction. So many choices now !

This is a very good post to send to your friends and colleagues who use AI, teaching them how to learn how to get more correct answers out of LLMs. AI haters should read this too, as it’s research-based and you can see how these systems work when you encounter them.

I love wild niche use cases for UE5. It's now a one-stop shop for such a wide range of tasks so it's great to tell folks that if they want to become the best in the world at, say, niagara particle simulation in augmented reality for medical devices, that is a feasible hill to climb to the top of!

I booked a flight through the Capital One Travel portal then realized it was wayyy cheaper through Delta.com Turns out Capital One has a price match system, so I called them up and about 10 minutes later I had about $560 of travel credit in my account and I still get 5x miles of the original price.

Now even without Apple Vision Pro you can now create spatial scenes directly on your iPhone ! They’re even better if the original images were created as a spatial photo. Apple bringing splats to the masses!
