From a performance perspective, one user has > 120,000 terms synchronised from a data governance platform spread out over 12 glossary files. As of v1.17.0, Contextive works almost instantly for autocomplete and hover, even with such large datasets.

e.g., if your term is Père, but you use `pere` in the code, Contextive will still show you the definition.

There is dedicated support for the German umlaut and eszett. e.g. ö will match with ö, o or oe. ß will match with ß or ss.

A friendly reminder that so-called "reasoning" models are not actually "thinking". They are extruding a series of tokens that look like "thoughts" before extruding a series of tokens that looks like "answers". Once you internalise this, all the scenarios in which they fail make much more sense.

I’ve come to abandon the use case for LLMs to summarize text because the summaries usually miss vital parts and are disappointing when I look closer. Australian government now has proof this is the case. Another proof that LLMs have more limitations we need to understand.

Watching talks about observability today... they all note that you need to observe the whole system, but nobody *is* monitoring the whole system - the socio- part of the socio-technical system is ignored. I wonder - could we, should we, monitor socio-technical system health in the same way?

It would be nice if conf speakers felt ok saying "I don't know" when asked a question they aren't qualified to answer. Feeling compelled to say something & missing the mark completely just confuses folk. Nobody is an expert on everything: "that's a question for another speaker" is a great answer.
