Yesterday the Scottish Parliament voted for a new law requiring owners of large landholdings to publish plans to increase biodiversity - rather than maintain the status quo in a nature-depleted nation. 🥳 The Land Reform Bill may be weak, but it's a joy to see this one provision made stronger.

It was a difficult week last week - but I ended up in a good place (literally and otherwise): one of my favourite places in Scotland - the Crannog Centre.

The gusty winds today meant I did the school run by bus, unusually. Double pick up from after school club and nursery today. Cost: £4 (cycling costs pennies) Time: 80 minutes (cycling takes 30 minutes) and only because we ran for the second bus so didn't have to wait
