Someone asked me why less women put themselves forward in politics while I was getting my highlights done, so they got an essay 😂 but I’m thankful he asked, not sure a man has ever asked me that. Women generally don’t either they know why! That’s allyship lads!

Depressing reading and my own local party need to improve this. It is a system issue, women are more likely to have caring responsibilities, parties need to offer more support to women. No party is doing this adequately.
