Like, I've seen a shocking amount of Star Wars XU fans (not calling it the EU, jeez) who are evangelical Christians and/or libertarians who proudly let everyone know that they don't trust LGBTQIA+ and hate feminism. Their views on Disney Canon are negative for varying, but equally troubling reasons.

I know it may seem sorta unfair that progressive and other left leaning geeks often say Star Wars Expanded Universe/Legends fans are a bunch of right wingers. But honestly, just from my personal experience, it seemed like that's true in three out of four cases.
