Jeremy Clarkson complains about no village Doctor, no village shops, no village schools, no bobby. This is the same Jeremy Clarkson who loves Margaret Thatcher and David Cameron who made all these things happen with their cuts. They love complaining about what they voted for.

So Jack Smith's revelation [with receipts] that King Donald the Mad was, in fact, directly responsible for the January 6th Capitol attack, is a great opener for the BBC'S $10bn Florida defamation suit, where the corporation reported exactly what he said on the day with edits for time.

I’ve heard most journalists and politicians say that Trump hasn’t been directly accused of wrongdoing or implicated in the Epstein Files. But, there are repeated instances of Trump being directly named as a perpetrator—by victims and by Epstein. It’s not circumstantial, it’s direct.

Just so we're clear, one incident of alleged anti-semitism by a musician = a major national scandal that should be roundly condemned. Multiple incidents of alleged anti-semitism from the man leading the race to run the country = a load of nothing that should be completely ignored

The Supreme Court, Presidency, Senate and two party system are all quite anti-democratic institutions as presently constructed. Our institutions are not only incapable of preventing tyranny—they’re currently enabling it. When democracy returns, we need to reform our political system.

Quick analysis of The Times today: Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform. Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population. How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich? They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.
