The first thing you see when you click on a USA Today article now is not what the reporter has written. It an "AI overview" that the site warns may contain mistakes. How any reporter continues to work there is beyond me.

The craziest thing about the AI boosters is when they say “you can’t do this without AI” “I can’t make an event flyer without AI” when we all remember just 3 years ago how we all got along fine without it.
